FENDER BASS

AMERICAN STANDARD JAZZ BASS

Fender hit a giant bass home run in 1960 by introducing its deluxe-model four-string instrument the Jazz Bass guitar. With its sleek offset body; thin, fast neck and rich, growling tone, it was a raring, roaring racecar of a bass that quickly established itself as a must-have instrument.

The new American Standard Jazz Bass is an even finer player's instrument a modern interpretation of our classic instrument for today's players. Features include our new high-mass vintage bridge, a thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance, new and improved Fender tuning keys that keep the classic look but are 30 percent lighter, a richer and deeper neck tint for a more elegant appearance, a great looking glossed maple or rosewood fingerboard and satin back for smooth playability, a new Fender exclusive SKB molded case and a gorgeous new Blizzard Pearl finish option.

MIKE DIRNT PRECISION BASS

Mike Dirnt and his Green Day Bandmates pretty much single-handedly brought pop-punk to the masses in the '90s. Designed to the hard-hitting and oft-airborne bassist's own specifications, the Mike Dirnt Precision Bass is as unique and cool as Green Day's music.

Modeled after the '51 Precision, it features a slab ash body with '55 arm contour and pickguard. Other features include a thick C-shaped maple neck modeled after Dirnt's original '69 Precision, a Custom Shop '59 Precision Bass pickup, and a Badass Bass II bridge with chrome hardware.

DUFF MCKAGAN P BASS

Designed for the man who has earned his place in rock history by holding down the low end for bands such as Gun N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, our Duff McKagan Signature Bass is rock and roll.

Based on the instrument he has used ever since the first GNR album, the Duff McKagan Signature model is a distinctive, sleek and full-sounding reissue of the '80s-era Jazz Bass Special, which combined a Precision Bass body with a Jazz Bass neck and a set of Precision and Jazz Bass pickups. That's all here, with a Pearl White finish, gloss-black neck and headstock, TBX circuit (treble/bass cut), black hardware and custom skull-engraved neck plate. There is no other Fender bass in the line right now with this look, feel or sound.

STING PRECISION BASS

From chart-topping '80s world domination in the Police to his prolific and musically adventurous solo career, Sting has always brought the bass out front with his forceful combination of four-string muscle and fitnesse. His namesake '50s-style Precision Bass features a vintage-style single-coil pickup, contoured body with 2-Color Sunburst finish and the King of Pain's signature in the block pearl inlay at the 12th fret.

MUSTANG BASS

Fender's popular Mustang Bass guitar was introduced in 1966 as a cool short-scale alternative to its illustrious long-scale big brothers.

This thoroughbred reissue captures the original instrument's feisty mid-60s vibe, and is perfect for players who dig a shorter scale (30") or who have smaller hands. Guitar players and younger musicians will find it especially comfortable to play! Details include a solid alder body, split single-coil pickup and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays and nickel/silver frets.

JAGUAR BASS

Um, wow-Fender once again scales new heights of cool with the Jaguar Bass guitar. After all, we did invent the bass guitar, and we did design the Jaguar guitar, and this baby combines both into one unbelievably cool instrument.

Bassists too can now be blinded by the chrome and have more switches and dials than Mission Control at their disposal. The alder body comes in cool Black or Hot Rod Red finishes, with a thin, fast one-piece C-shaped maple neck (matching headstock on Hot Rod Red Model). The rosewood fingerboard has aged white pearloid block position markers, and the roar comes from two Jazz Bass pickups with active/passive, series/parallel switching.

STU HAMM URGE BASS II

Satisfy the Urge! We've taken Hamm's already decked-out signature model to another level by adding a Hipshot Drop-D tuner and some great new color options-Red Sparkle Metallic(long awaited by fans), Ocean Turquoise and Black.

Hamm was the first guy to have a Fender signature bass model, y'know we've upgraded it in celebration of his contributions to bass playing. Features include a sleek body design with two Custom Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups, one Custom Precision Bass pickup, EQ and panning pickups selector controls, asymmetrical oval neck profile, six-bolt neck design with a sculpted heel and 24 medium-jumbo frets. Totally custom and forward thinking, with features, style and versatility.
